The BSM course I took was well delivered and of benefit to me to help take me to the next step of being able to understand texts that I could not understand previously. Even when I study the work of beings who have ceased with games conditions, I am grateful for the basics instilled in me with the help of the BSM course and hours of supervised study. The supervisors or teachers never inserted their own personalities and gave me the right balance of freedom and discipline, as a newbie on the path to Nirvana (means "cessation of thought driven action"). Thank you to my courseroom supervisors.

And there aren't "but"s, and there aren't "other thing"s, because it is so absolute, that there is no need to take away any information from it, or to give extra information to it.

I completed this course. (BSM). It is 100 % true, understandable, useable. It is the TRUTH about learning, it contains everything theoretically, and practically in the theme. - that is, how your mind works in the field of studying, why, and what you can do to be able to understand, what you learn, and use it in practice, what you learn. PERFECT ! :D - I know, what I am speaking about, because I did this course, so I don't care of outsiders opinions.

You need to read Hayakawa's work in General Semantics and Alfred Korzybski's General Semantics where the "Study Tech was filched from without due credit by the Hubbard.
Korzybski's work argued that human knowledge of the world is limited both by the human nervous system and by the structure of language.
For Korzybski, people do not have access to direct knowledge of reality; rather they have access to perceptions and to a set of beliefs which human society has confused with direct knowledge of reality.
To embody this insight, Korzybski is remembered as the author of the dictum: "The map is not the territory".

I am not a Scientologist and I never have been a Scientologist. I do not support Scientology as a church or ideology. However, as a child my brother and I were diagnosed with learning disabilities. In an effort to find the best, most cutting edge techniques, my mother did a lot of research on different methodologies and schools for children with learning disabilities. We wound up being sent to a school in Los Angeles called Apple School. It was a school run by, and mostly attended by, Scientologists. We did not learn about Scientology at the school. We were not recruited or brainwashed. We did however, use the learning techniques discussed in some of the articles on the web pages. Though many of the techniques are rooted in ridiculous ideas, the methods are effective. I did not learn the alphabet until I was in the fourth grade. I learned it because a Scientologist teacher sat with me everyday at recess until I learned it. Today, I myself am a teacher. Many of the techniques that teachers currently consider "best practices" are very similar to many strategies used in Study Tech. Demo Kits and Clay models are what we call kinesthetic activities that build association around a word or concept. Kinesthetic learning and multi-modality strategies are widely accepted as not just good teaching practices, but necessary for today's high population of English language learners.
